Swiipy — Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Swiipy, operated under the name AdFree Tools (“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information obtained from users (“you”, “your”, or “User”) of the Swiipy mobile application (“App”, “Service”, or “Platform”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Swiipy, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy in its entirety. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you must immediately stop using the App and delete your account.

Swiipy is a social networking and dating platform. We act solely as a technology intermediary that provides a platform for users to connect. We are not a matchmaking service, and we do not guarantee any outcome, match, relationship, or interaction resulting from the use of our App.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Swiipy is strictly intended for users who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
• You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• You have not been previously banned or removed from the Platform
• You do not have any unspent criminal convictions related to violent, sexual, or harassment offenses

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe belong to users under the age of 18. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from a minor's use of the Platform obtained through misrepresentation of age.

2. Information We Collect

To provide the Service, we may collect the following categories of information:

• Account registration data: name, email address, date of birth, gender
• Profile information: photos, bio, interests, preferences
• Identity verification data when required
• Messages, communications, and content shared through the App

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Pricing

Swiipy offers both free and premium (paid) features. The availability, pricing, and scope of free and paid features may vary based on factors including location and promotional offers.

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, and access levels at any time without prior notice. Changes to subscription terms will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Stripe, etc.). We do not store your full credit card numbers or banking information. All payment data is subject to the respective payment provider's privacy policy.

Refund policy: All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are solely responsible for managing your subscription and cancelling before any renewal period.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share your information with:

• Other Users: Your profile information, photos, and public content are visible to other users of the Platform as part of the core functionality
• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service (hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, fraud prevention)
• Legal Authorities: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Safety & Enforcement: To protect our rights, property, or safety, our users, or the public
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to share information with specific third parties

By using Swiipy, you acknowledge and accept that your profile and certain information will be visible to other users. You are solely responsible for the information you choose to share on your profile and in your interactions.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from a security breach, data leak, or unauthorized access to your data, except where such breach is directly and solely caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before automatic deletion. Subscription audit records are kept for up to 5 years for tax and consumer-rights compliance. Reported or blocked user records are retained in pseudonymised form to protect other users from repeat offenders. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings or by visiting our account deletion page.

Messages and content you have sent to other users may remain visible to those users even after your account is deleted. We cannot control or delete data that other users have saved, screenshotted, or shared outside the Platform.

8. Location Data

Swiipy may collect and use your location data (with your consent) to provide location-based features, including showing you users nearby. You can disable location access through your device settings at any time, but this may limit the functionality of the App.

We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the display of your approximate location to other users. You acknowledge that using location-based features inherently involves disclosing your general location to other users.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, services, or applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party service.

The third-party services we currently use are:

• DigitalOcean (United States) — server hosting and database
• Google Cloud Vision (United States) — automated photo content moderation
• OpenAI (United States) — generation of message suggestions and bio drafts when you use the AI assistant features. Only the data required for the specific request is shared (your profile data and, for chat suggestions, a short snippet of the conversation). OpenAI does not use this data to train its models when accessed through their API.
• Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, Facebook Sign-In — authentication, when you choose one of these methods
• Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat — subscription management and billing
• Expo Push Service — delivery of push notifications
• Google Maps — in-app map for the distance preference

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies before using their services.

10. Communications & Notifications

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from us, including but not limited to: service notifications, security alerts, account updates, promotional offers, and marketing communications.

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by updating your settings or using the unsubscribe mechanism provided. Service-related communications (e.g., security alerts, account changes) cannot be opted out of while you maintain an active account.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without liability. This includes but is not limited to violations of this Policy, reports from other users, suspected fraud, or any behavior we deem harmful to the Platform or its users.

Upon termination: (a) your right to use the Service immediately ceases; (b) we may delete your data in accordance with Section 12; (c) no refund will be issued for any unused portion of a paid subscription, unless required by applicable law.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal exceptions)
• Right to Restriction: Request limitation of processing of your data
• Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to Object: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time

13. Children's Privacy

Swiipy is not intended for and must not be used by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was last revised.

15. Severability

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service and any other legal notices published on the Platform, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service, and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
